Royal Mail Tracked 48 

Requires a signature unless an instruction is given to leave the parcel in a safe place. We are unable to deliver to PO Box address.

Our courier service is next working day however please allow for (UK 2 days) and (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands 2-4 Days).

Orders can be picked up from our shop at 25-33 Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone during business hours. An email will be sent to you advising when your parcel is ready for collection.

Delivery Terms

Please allow up to 1-3 days for delivery (UK). We use a courier, next working day delivery service, for all product unless you have selected the Royal Mail option at the checkout on the Website. We will endeavour, to dispatch products immediately on confirmation that your order is accepted and issue of your Order Reference Number. If for some reason we have a problem with your order we will contact you by telephone or email as soon as practicable to let you know. If delay in dispatch is likely to exceed 7 days you may, provided the product has not been dispatched, cancel your order and we will refund all sums paid by you.

A delivery pre-advice text or e mail is sent to you the day the item is dispatched. You will also receive a second notification, on the day of delivery. The text or e-mail message allows you to re-organise delivery to another day, select a safe place for your parcel to be left if this is preferred or to select a nearby Pick Up Point. Instructions can be given at our checkout for packages to be left in a specified safe place or with a neighbour if you are likely to be out when delivery is made.

Deliveries Out of the UK

Deliveries out of the UK may be subject to local sales taxes, custom charges and/or import duties, over which we have no control, and for which we cannot accept liability. If they apply they may require to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery. You may be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise you what they may be. As customs policies vary from country to country, you may wish to contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.

Lost parcels

Royal Mail

It is very rare for parcels to go missing, but please take note of the following terms:
We will not be able to enter a claim for lost products with Royal Mail until:
1. 15 working days have passed (for UK orders)
2. 20 working days have passed (for EU orders)
3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU)

Courier Service

1.  15 working days have passed (for UK orders)

3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU

Proof of delivery which can include a Signature, GPS coordinates or photograph

will be provided to the customer. This should be sufficient to prove the delivery was successful and invalidate a warranty claim. If the courier company is unable to provide this evidence then a claim will be considered.
*please note that monies will not be refunded until the claim has been accepted by the courier firm.

We cannot guarantee that our items have not been tried on in our store at some point. Sale items may have been displayed on racks in our stores also.

Purchasing:

By using The Golden Boot website, you accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time and we advise you to read through them each time you use the site. You must be over 18 years old to buy goods from this site. If you are under 18, you can only use this site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Payments:

We are happy to accept the following methods of payment:

Visa / Master Card / Maestro /Visa Debit / Paypal / American Express.

All payments made to The Golden Boot are processed through secure payment gateways. Payments will show on your bank statement as either The Golden Boot or F.W.Randall & Co Ltd.

Payments placed on our website are processed by either Paypal or Braintree Payment Gateway, as selected at the checkout all payments will be subject to security checks from the card provider, Paypal and The Golden Boot.

This is done through a validation process with the issuing card company using comparative information supplied from the customer and the issuing card company or PayPal depending on your method of payment. We may also contact you by email or phone to confirm any additional information.
This will be done prior to your order being processed and may cause a delay in dispatch.
When you place your order online, we do not see your payment information.
Please note that if you pay by Paypal e-cheque the order isn't generated until the e-cheque clears which can take up to 10 days.

My payment has been declined. We’re sorry to hear this. The decline of payment from your card will be a direct instruction from the card provider. As this is the case we are unable to provide further information on why this decision has been made.

We would suggest contacting your card provider regarding this. You are more than welcome to use an alternative method of payment should you wish.

Note: parcels sent by air must not contain aerosols, so please refrain from adding these to your order.

Customs charges:
The customer is responsible for paying any applicable import/export customs fees.
VAT free shopping is available to customers outside of the UK. If both your billing and shipping addresses are outside the UK, the VAT will be deducted at checkout from the price shown on the Website.

Deliveries out of the UK may be subject to local sales taxes, custom charges and/or import duties, over which we have no control, and for which we cannot accept liability. If they apply they may be required to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery. You may be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise you what they may be.

If a delivery is refused by the consignee, any charges the Golden Boot incurs to have the parcel returned will be deducted from any refund due.
As customs policies vary from country to country, you may wish to contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.

International and European parcels may be sent by FedEx, UPS or Royal Mail. We will inform you if there is change in the delivery method.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the overall weight of the order.
Delivery to a European address should take approximately 3-7 working days
Delivery to the rest of the world should take approximately 5-10 working days.
Orders should be received within a maximum of 21 working days. Any claims for lost goods will not be entered into until 30 working days have elapsed for any overseas orders.
Please be aware that any delay by customs, on delivery of items is beyond our control.

Availability:

On receipt of your order and payment clearance we will despatch your goods as described.
Once goods have been despatched we will advise you by email. If your chosen goods are out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by email or phone.
If we cannot meet your requirements we will credit your original method of payment. On orders greater than 1 item, goods may be despatched in multiple packets.

Pricing:

If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied.
We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.

Sale Reductions Policy:

All of our sale promotions are genuine price reductions. If a purchased product is reduced further in a promotion we will not refund the difference in the reduction.

Please note, this returns policy does not affect your statutory rights or any other rights contained in our terms and conditions of supply.

Product Descriptions:

Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, the reproduction of colours is as accurate, as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

Please note that we endeavour to check that the quality of all orders shipped meet the high standards that our customers expect. However we are unable to guarantee that shoes despatched will be ’box fresh’ i.e. they may have been tried on by customers in our store.

NB: As a company policy, we do not stock any products that contain or are manufactured from real fur.

Tax Charges:

The price is inclusive of any payable V.A.T. in the U.K. Tax free shopping is offered for customers outside the UK and 20% UK consumer tax (VAT) will be deducted at the Checkout and will not be included in the price paid.
To receive tax free shopping both your billing and shipping addresses must be outside of the UK. Please see International deliveries for further details.

Exchanges:
If you require an exchange, please contact us on 01622 752349 so we can reserve the item for you. Please fill in the returns form and once we receive the item back, we will process your exchange. If there is a price difference between the items, we will contact you for further details; if a partial refund is due back to you, we will process this to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once your exchange has been processed.
