Any online orders placed over or just before the bank holidays will be despatched on the following working day for next day delivery.

2. How To Make a Purchase

Browse through our Footwear Collections and select the items you wish to purchase by adding them to your shopping basket. Once you have completed your selection click on «Checkout» and you will be asked for a few details that are required to process your order. We accept Paypal payments and the major credit and debit cards except American Express. If your card isn't accepted, please check out via Paypal.

3. Payments and Security

Payments placed on our website are processed by either Paypal or Iridium Corporation payment gateway as selected at the checkout. The Golden Boot may contact your bank & the relevant authorities if we suspect any card details or transaction to be fraudulent. This may delay orders but is carried out in the interest of The Golden Boot & the genuine card Holder. Secure checkout is provided by Nitrosell, you will notice that the website address on the checkout page changes to Secure checkout
When you place your order online, we do not see your payment information.
Please note that if you pay by Paypal e-cheque the order isn't generated until the e-cheque clears which can take up to 10 days.

4. Shipping & Handling

UK
  • We offer free next business day delivery for UK orders over £50, please order by 2pm to get the items next day.
  • UK orders £50 and under are charged at £2.99.
  • Discounted and sale items are charged at £2.99 and above depending on weight. Please note that discounted items will not be despatched until the shipping is fully paid.
  • Please make sure that you are available to sign for your item. You can specify additional instructions i.e. for the item to be left with the neighbour. Interlink express will email you in the morning on the day of delivery with a 1 hour slot within which the delivery will be made. We strongly recommend that you specify the goods to be delivered to your place of work, ensuring that the item is signed for and received.
  • Interlink express deliver 8am—6pm Monday—Friday.

International
  • International parcels may be sent by Royal Mail or a courier of our choice. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the overall weight of the order.
  • Delivery to an European address should take approximately 3-7 working days
  • Delivery to the rest of the world should take approximately 5-10 working days. Deliveries to some countries like Russia may take longer due to the customs checks.
  • Orders should be received within a maximum of 14 working days. Any claims for lost goods will not be entered into until after 30 working days for overseas orders. Please be aware that customs may delay the delivery of the items which is out of our control.

We offer a very good next day delivery service for orders within UK, however we leave the postage cost of returns down to you. Please note that we endeavour to check that the quality of all orders shipped meet the high standards that our customers expect. However we are unable to guarantee that shoes despatched will be ’box fresh’ i.e. they may have been tried on by customers in our store.

5. Delivery Schedule

On receipt of your order and payment clearance we will despatch your goods as described above. Once goods have been despatched we will advise you by email. If your chosen goods are out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by phone or email. If we cannot meet your requirements we will credit your original method of payment. On orders greater than 1 item, goods may be despatched in multiple packets.

6. Delivery Policy

Delivery will only be made to the cardholder’s registered address or the cardholders place of work which may need to be verified before despatch. We will not in any circumstances delivery to any other address.

7. Tax Charges

The price is inclusive of any payable V.A.T. in the U.K.

8. Warranties

You warrant that the information entered onto the Order Form is true. Where we sell to you under a consumer transaction (as defined by the Consumer Transactions (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976) your statutory rights are not affected by this agreement.

9. Product descriptions

Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, the reproduction of colours is as accurate, as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

10. Product availability

Availability & Prices of our goods are subject to change without notice.

11. Returns Policy and Refunds

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 21 days of purchase in its original condition and packaging (eg box). We will refund the price of the goods on arrival but we will not cover the shipping costs of returning the product to us.

If you opt to cancel your order within 7 days we will refund the price of returned goods once returned in un-used condition, and any postage we've charged you (under the distant selling regulations), but we will not refund any return postage and packaging costs.

The refunds can only be made to the original method of payment and using the original details supplied.

We reserve the right to impose a £5 charge (or otherwise where deemed appropriate) if the goods/box are returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale. The box should not be defaced or damaged in any way.

Returns can be taken back to our Maidstone store. Please take proof of purchase with you when returning items.

Please ensure you have correctly completed the returns form. If you require an exchange please give us full details of your requirements. We recommend that you obtain proof of delivery for your return as we are not liable for goods lost in transit.

All shoe and foot care products are non returnable. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

12. VAT exempt countries

VAT will be automatically deducted from the cart total for orders shipped to VAT exempt countries.

13. Cookies and Privacy Policy

Cookies
Cookies are pieces of data sometimes stored on the client computer.
By browsing our site you are agreeing to the use of cookies.

The cookies set by our site will originate from Google Analytics:
__utmz records whether the visitor came from a search engine (and if so, the search keyword used), a link, or from no previous page (e.g. a bookmark).
__utma stores the amount of visits (for each visitor), the time of the first visit, the previous visit, and the current visit
__utmb and __utmc are used to check approximately how fast people leave: when a visit starts, and approximately ends (c expires quickly). If you look at cookie state changes (e.g. using firecookie), you will see these change regularly.

You may also see a cookie PHPSESSID originating from store.thegoldenboot.co.uk which is set by our shopping card provider Nitrosell. This is used by Nitrosell to provide a better shopping experience.

The cookies will not store any personal or account information.



Privacy
We collect personal information from anybody placing an order with The Golden Boot.
The collected information includes your name, address, contact and billing details, and purchase history.

The transactions placed on the website are processed by Nitrosell who are our shopping cart provider. The payment details are processed by the payment gateway you select on the checkout. Once you have registered or placed your order we may contact you for advertising purposes or regarding your order. The delivery of your order will be processed by a nominated courier.




The Terms above are governed by the laws of England & Wales & any disputes will be conducted only by the Courts of England & Wales.
