Joseph Cheaney® Ladies
Since its founding in 1886, Cheaney has traditionally handmade leather shoes in Northamptonshire, England. From leather-cutting to final polish, Joseph Cheaney & Sons' shoes are the product of 120 expert craftspeople using 200 operational techniques over eight weeks. Cheaney shoes are Goodyear welted, where a strip of leather is used to attach the upper and insole. With wear, Goodyear welted soles become more comfortable and the soft cork filling material in the sole provides underfoot cushioning. Even since the 2009 acquisition of Cheaney by Church & Co, a subsidiary of Prada, the commitment to high-quality shoes made entirely in Northamptonshire, England has been unchanged. The distinctive and refined style of Cheaney shoes, and the excellent attention to detail that these traditional hand processes require, makes them exceptionally unique. Below you will find an exquisite, bespoke collection of Ladies’ Cheaney, from delicately-made Chelsea boots to a timeless two-tone Oxford brogue.
