Purchasing:

By using The Golden Boot website, you accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time and we advise you to read through them each time you use the site. You must be over 18 years old to buy goods from this site. If you are under 18, you can only use this site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Payments:

We are happy to accept the following methods of payment:

Visa / Master Card / Maestro /Visa Debit / Paypal

Please note we do not accept American Express.

All payments made to The Golden Boot are processed through secure payment gateways. Payments will show on your bank statement as either The Golden Boot or F.W.Randall & Co Ltd.

Payments placed on our website are processed by either Paypal or Iridium Corporation Payment Gateway, as selected at the checkout all payments will be subject to security checks from the card provider, Paypal and The Golden Boot.

This is done through a validation process with the issuing card company using comparative information supplied from the customer and the issuing card company or PayPal depending on your method of payment. We may also contact you by email or phone to confirm any additional information.
This will be done prior to your order being processed and may cause a delay in dispatch.
When you place your order online, we do not see your payment information.
Please note that if you pay by Paypal e-cheque the order isn't generated until the e-cheque clears which can take up to 10 days.

My payment has been declined. We’re sorry to hear this. The decline of payment from your card will be a direct instruction from the card provider. As this is the case we are unable to provide further information on why this decision has been made.

We would suggest contacting your card provider regarding this. You are more than welcome to use an alternative method of payment should you wish.



Order By Phone:

We are happy to take orders over the telephone- 01622 752349. Card details are securely destroyed once the payment has been processed. Should the goods be returned for refund we will contact the customer for the original card number to process the refund.



Delivery:

NEXT DAY DELIVERY MAINLAND UK

All UK deliveries will be dispatched via DPD Local.

DPD Local deliver 8am—6pm Monday—Friday.

DPD Local will email you in the morning on the day of delivery with a 1 hour slot within which the delivery will be made. Please provide an email and mobile number if available. We strongly recommend that you specify the goods to be delivered to your place of work, ensuring that the item is signed for and received.

Please make sure that you are available to sign for your item. You can specify additional instructions i.e. for the item to be left with a neighbour or in a secure place of your choice.
If a customer requests that items are to be left, ‘in a shed’, ‘conservatory’, ‘behind the bins’ or other unsecure, un-documented place within the grounds of your home – this is ENTIRELY at your (the customers) own risk.
The Golden Boot may at its discretion, agree to the above, however all risk is passed to you.
Place your order before 2pm Monday to Thursday for Next Working Day Delivery.*

Orders placed before 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday.(except where a Bank Holiday falls and delivery will be on the next working day)

Orders placed after 2.01pm Friday will be delivered on the Tuesday (except where a Bank Holiday falls and delivery will be on the next working day)

Deliveries will not be made during Bank or Public holidays.

Please note deliveries to Scottish Islands may take upto 5 days.

Full price orders over £50 are delivered Free of Charge. Discounted and sale items are charged at £2.99 and above depending on weight. Please note that discounted items will not be despatched until the shipping is fully paid. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee next day delivery on sale items.

 

PO Box numbers:
Unfortunately we can not offer delivery to PO boxes as we will not be able to obtain a proof of delivery.


Europe and International deliveries

FedEx Deliveries: Orders placed upto 11.30am Monday to Friday will be collected from Golden Boot by the courier the same day. Orders placed after 11.30am will be collected on the next working day. All tracking details will be sent once the parcel is processed by the courier.


Note: parcels sent by air must not contain aerosols, so please refrain from adding these to your order.


Customs charges outside the EU
The customer is responsible for paying any applicable import/export customs fees.
VAT free shopping is available to non-EU customers. If both your billing and shipping addresses are outside EU, we will deduct VAT from the price shown on the Website
Import duties may still be payable by the customer in accordance with the delivery country's law.
Taxes, custom charges and import duties may apply to deliveries to countries outside of the EU. If they apply they will need to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery
Please note that you will need to meet any additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot calculate what they may be.
As customs policies vary from country to country, please contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.
International and European parcels may be sent by Interlink, Fedex,royal Mail,or a courier of our choice. We will inform you if there is change in the delivery method.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the overall weight of the order.
Delivery to a European address should take approximately 3-7 working days
Delivery to the rest of the world should take approximately 5-10 working days. Deliveries to some countries like Russia may take longer due to  customs checks.
Orders should be received within a maximum of 21 working days. Any claims for lost goods will not be entered into until 30 working days have elasped for any overseas orders.
Please be aware that any delay by customs, on delivery of items is beyond our control.

Please bring a copy of your order and a form of ID when you come to collect your order.

 

Availability:

On receipt of your order and payment clearance we will despatch your goods as described.
Once goods have been despatched we will advise you by email. If your chosen goods are out of stock or no longer available we will advise you by email or phone.
If we cannot meet your requirements we will credit your original method of payment. On orders greater than 1 item, goods may be despatched in multiple packets.

Pricing:


If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied.

We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.

Product Descriptions:

Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However, the reproduction of colours is as accurate, as photographic and publishing processes will allow.

Please note that we endeavour to check that the quality of all orders shipped meet the high standards that our customers expect. However we are unable to guarantee that shoes despatched will be ’box fresh’ i.e. they may have been tried on by customers in our store.

Tax Charges:

The price is inclusive of any payable V.A.T. in the U.K. Tax free shopping is offered for all non-EU customers and 20% UK consumer tax (VAT) will be deducted at the Checkout and will not be included in the price paid.

To receive tax free shopping both your billing and shipping addresses must be outside of the EU. Please see International deliveies for further details.



Returns and Refunds:

We trust you will be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied you can return it to us at any time within 21 days of receipt. Products must be returned unworn and undamaged in their original packaging. Returns costs are at your own expense.

Please complete the returns form which is on the back of your order form within your parcel. Please complete the form in its entirety, so that we can process your returns request within 5 days of receipt. Please allow upto 48 hours after we have processed your refund to credit back to your original payment method.

We will email you confimation once we have processed the refund or exchange.

If you made your order via the telephone and you require a refund we will contact you once we have the goods back to process the refund. Please ensure that shoes are tried on, on a carpeted surface.

If you opt to cancel your order within 7 days, we will refund the price of returned goods once returned in an un-used condition, and any postage we've charged you (under the distant selling regulations), but we will not refund any return postage and packaging costs.

The refunds can only be made to the original method of payment and using the original details supplied.

We reserve the right to impose a £5 charge (or otherwise where deemed appropriate) if the goods/box are returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale. The box should not be defaced or damaged in any way.

Returns can be taken back to our Maidstone store. Please take proof of purchase with you when returning items. If you do return your parcel to our store, refunds will be processed back through the original payment gateway.

Exchanges:

If you require an exchange please contact us on 01622 752349 so we may reserve the item for you. Please fill in the returns form and once we receive the item back we will process the exchange. If there is any difference in price to pay we will contact you for further details. If there is a refund due back to you this will be made back to the original payment method. We will email you confimation once we have proecessed the exchange.

We collect personal information from anybody placing an order with The Golden Boot.
The collected information includes your name, address, contact and billing details, email, telephone and purchase history.
 The payment details are processed by the payment gateway you select on the checkout.
Once you have registered or placed your order we may contact you for advertising purposes or regarding your order. The delivery of your order will be processed by a nominated courier.
Your email and your telephone number may be used by the nominated couriers for delivery confirmation.
All information and data received is not passed onto outside companies for data sharing.
