Coronavirus Delivery update from DPD Local:
DPD Local continues to implement new plans in response to the Coronavirus situation in the UK following advice issued by HM Government.
New UK delivery process:
With immediate effect, DPD will no longer ask customers to sign their handheld units and instead drivers will sign it on the customers behalf. DPD will record the consignees name and a 'Delivered on Authority' message in the signature section of the unit.
Please be aware this may change at short notice and delays can be expected.
DPD Classic road service to Europe:
Operations are continuing to function, however delays of 24-72 hours can be expected.

Order before 2pm Monday to Thursday for UK Next Working Day Delivery* (*Working day defined as Monday-Friday)
All UK deliveries will be dispatched via DPD Local (with the exception of Gift Vouchers)
Orders placed before 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday (except where a Bank Holiday falls and delivery will be on the next working day) Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be delivered on the Tuesday.
Deliveries will not be made during Bank or Public holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day

PO Box numbers
Unfortunately we can not offer delivery to PO boxes as we will not be able to obtain a proof of delivery.
Courier Special Instructions
Please make sure that you are available to sign for your item. You can specify additional instructions i.e. for the item to be left with the neighbour or in a secure place of your choice. If a customer requests that items are to be left, ‘in a shed’, ‘conservatory’, ‘behind the bins’ or other unsecure, un-documented place within the grounds of your home – this is ENTIRELY at your (the customers) risk. The Golden Boot may at its discretion agree to the above however all risk is passed to you. DPD Local will email you in the morning on the day of delivery with a 1 hour slot within which the delivery will be made,please provide an email and mobile number if avaiable. We strongly recommend that you specify the goods to be delivered to your place of work, ensuring that the item is signed for and received. DPD Local deliver 8am—6pm Monday—Friday.
Europe and International deliveries
FedEx Deliveries: Orders placed up to 10.30am Monday to Friday will be collected from Golden Boot by the courier the same day. Orders placed after 10.30am will be collected on the next working day. All tracking details will be sent once the parcel is processed by the courier.
Note: parcels sent by air must not contain aerosols, so please refrain from adding these to your order.
Customs charges outside the EU
The customer is responsible for paying any applicable import/export customs fees. VAT free shopping is available to non-EU customers. If both your billing and shipping addresses are outside EU, we will deduct VAT from the price shown on the Website. Import duties may be still payable by the customer in accordance with the delivery country's law.Taxes, custom charges and import duties may apply to deliveries to countries outside of the EU. If they apply they will need to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery. Please note that you will need to meet any additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot calculate what they may be. As customs policies vary from country to country, please contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details. International and Europe parcels may be sent by Interlink, Fedex,Royal Mail,or a courier of our choice. We will inform you if there is change in the delivery method. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the overall weight of the order. Delivery to an European address should take approximately 3-7 working days Delivery to the rest of the world should take approximately 5-10 working days. Deliveries to some countries such as Russia may take longer due to the customs checks. Orders should be received within a maximum of 21 working days. Any claims for lost goods will not be entered into until after 30 working days for overseas orders. Please be aware that customs may delay the delivery of the items which is out of our control.
