About HB Italia: HB Italia is the Italian-made line of HB shoes: leather moccasins, heels and sandals, made in Italy since 1964. They are sized in EU and generally fit true to size on length. Many of the moccasins are a narrower cut, which suits a slimmer foot. We have no sized pairs in at the moment, so there is no size table on this page.
On length, yes, when you go by foot length and the EU size. The usual exception is width: many moccasins come up narrower than a standard fitting.
Slim and average feet do well in the moccasins. For a wider foot or a high instep, look for a sandal, a lace-up or a style with a buckle, where you can let the fastening out. A slip-on has nothing to loosen, so we would not force a wide foot into a narrow moccasin.
They are EU whole sizes. If you are between two EU sizes, a strapped style can take the smaller one eased off. In a slip-on moccasin we would usually try the larger length.
In Italy. HB have had the shoes made there since 1964. We have not found a separate size chart on an HB website, so these notes are from how we fit the line in the shop.
