About Jekyll & Hide: Jekyll & Hide uses full-grain cowhide from South Africa, vegetable-tanned, and the leather is a by-product of the food industry. What we stock is wallets, two cabin bags, a 45 cm laptop backpack and an upcycled paper diary. All of it is one size.

- Pick a wallet by the slots, not a size. The billfold 2790 has 6 to 8 card slots, 4 slip pockets, a clear ID window, 2 note sections and a stud coin pouch, and it is RFID blocking. The money-clip 2792 has 6 card slots, 2 tight slip pockets, an extra card slot on the outside and a spring clip for notes. The medium billfold 6492 has 4 card slots, 2 slip pockets, a coin pouch and 2 note sections, also RFID blocking.
- Bags are named by their centimetres. The Montana backpack is the 45 cm double-compartment laptop backpack. We do not have a separate laptop-inch figure on that listing, so treat 45 cm as the bag, and check a laptop against it if you are unsure. The Oxford holdall is the 49 cm cabin holdall. The Oxford wheeled holdall is the wheeled cabin holdall: 56 cm wide, 30 cm high and 25 cm deep, about 3 kg, with room for 2 to 3 days and a trolley sleeve.

- The leather will change. Vegetable-tanned full grain picks up a patina. Jekyll & Hide says it is naturally water resistant, and that rain and heat still dry the oils out, so a leather feed every few months keeps it supple. Keep a new dark wallet off pale cloth at first.

Vegetable tanned
Tanned with plant tannins. The leather stays firmer at first and softens as you carry it.
RFID
A shield in the 2790 and 6492 wallets, and a secure pocket on the wheeled holdall, so a contactless card is harder to read through the leather.
