About NeroGiardini: NeroGiardini is made in Italy by B.A.G. Spa, in Monte San Pietrangeli in the Marche. We stock women’s leather boots, long boots and heels, and men’s leather trainers. Their size chart is in EU, with a UK number and a foot length in centimetres beside each size. From EU 40 upwards that UK number often differs from the UK size on our website, so the EU size and the centimetre column are the ones to trust.
Our women’s NeroGiardini runs from EU 36 (UK 3 on both our site and their chart) up to EU 41, which they list as a UK 8. In at the moment are heels such as the Aquileia and Dimona, ankle boots such as the Bardolino, and long boots such as the Lucoli. Up to EU 39 the UK sizes agree. At EU 40 and EU 41 their UK size is a full size above the UK we show, so read the box UK column before you order.

Our men’s NeroGiardini is leather trainers, including the Raiano and the Pagani, from EU 40 to EU 45. EU 41, 42 and 43 match the UK size we show. Their chart puts EU 40 at UK 6 and 25.3 cm, which is half a size under the UK 6.5 on our site. They also list an Italian 40.5 on that same EU 40 line, at UK 6.5 and 25.7 cm, so check whether the shoe is stamped 40 or 40.5. EU 44 is a UK 10 on their chart (we show 9.5) and EU 45 is a UK 11 (we show 10).

Leather and suede
The women’s styles we have in include both smooth leather and suede, so check the upper before you clean a pair. Wipe smooth leather with a damp cloth and leave it to dry away from a radiator. Brush suede once it is dry, and do not soak it. Take the insole out to air the shoe if it lifts out.
Not always, once you get to the larger sizes. Women’s EU 36 to 39 match the UK size we show. EU 40 and 41 are a full UK size larger on NeroGiardini’s own chart. Men’s EU 41 to 43 match. Men’s EU 40, 44 and 45 do not, so use the EU size and the centimetre column.
Order by the EU size, then check the foot length in cm. The UK number on our website can sit half a size, or a full size, away from the UK number on NeroGiardini’s chart.
On our site, UK 6.5 is EU 40. NeroGiardini’s women’s chart calls EU 40 a UK 7, with a foot length of 25.8 cm. If your foot is nearer 25.1 cm, their EU 39 (UK 6) is the closer match.
