Polo belts and leather dog collars

About Pioneros: Pioneros is a family firm started in 2003, with the workshop in Buenos Aires. The polo belts and dog collars are handmade there in Argentine leather. What we stock is those belts and collars.

Pioneros fit & sizing tips

  • Belts. Measure an old belt from the tip of the buckle, including the buckle, to the hole you normally use. Pioneros cuts that length in centimetres and suggests the nearest 5 cm. On our site the same belts are listed in inches, so pick the inch nearest that measurement.
  • Dog collars. Length is from the buckle tip to the holes. The large we stock is the Labrador fitting on Pioneros’ own guide, about 43–53 cm (17–21 in).

Glossary

Polo belt

A narrow leather belt with a woven pattern, the thing Pioneros is known for. Ours are listed by waist in inches.

Belt length

Pioneros measures from the tip of the buckle to the middle hole, and suggests you order the nearest 5 cm to the hole you already use.

Collar length

Measured from the tip of the buckle to the first and last holes, which gives the neck range that size will fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure for a Pioneros belt?

Take a belt that already fits and measure from the tip of the buckle, including the buckle, to the hole you normally use. Pioneros works in centimetres and suggests the nearest 5 cm. Our listings show that length in inches.

What neck does the large dog collar fit?

The large is the Labrador fitting on Pioneros’ own guide, about 43–53 cm (17–21 in), measured from the buckle tip to the holes. It is a guide, so if the dog is between sizes, check the range before you order.
