About &SONS: &SONS is a British menswear label started by photographer Phil James. We stock the Sunday shirts, henleys, jackets, Brandon jeans and Virgil chino shorts. Shirts and jackets run S to XXL. Jeans and shorts are sized by the waist, from 30 to 40.
Letter sizes are the shirts and jackets. The numbers are waist labels on the Brandon jeans and Virgil chino shorts. Chest, waist and neck below are body measurements from the &SONS size chart, in inches. For a numbered jean or short, the waist column repeats the label on the size.
Yes. &SONS call the shirt cut classic and true to size. Take the letter whose chest band covers you. A Medium is for a 39–41 in chest and a 33–35 in waist.
They are waist labels, in inches, on the jeans and chino shorts. If your usual jeans are a 32, start there. The letter sizes are a separate scale for shirts and jackets.
Use your chest. If you sit on the join, or you want to wear the shirt open over a tee, take the larger letter. The neck bands are useful if you fasten the top button: do not take a size whose neck is smaller than yours.
The caps and Baseline socks we have from &SONS are one size. They do not appear in the chart above.
