How to look after Dubarry boots?

Dubarry boots are known for their durability. To keep them supple and functional, you may be interested in following the Dubarry care routine:

  1. Clean your Dubarry Boots by removing any mud, manure and salt deposits with clean cold water and a brush. Then apply the Dubarry Footwear Cleaner to create a lather. Rinse this off with water and allow the boots to dry naturally for 24 hours before further treatment.

  2. Apply Dubarry Leather Conditioner all over the boots with a clean cloth, sponge or soft brush. Allow to dry for 2-3 hours before next treatments.

  3. Spray the boots with a footwear protector to restore the water repellency of the leather. This step is best completed outside or in a well-ventilated area.

  4. For boots that get plenty of outdoor use, Dubarry recommend using the Dubarry Leather Cream. This is for smooth leathers only and not suitable for suede. The cream should be applied sparingly with a soft cloth or brush, paying particular attention to the flex area that bends as you walk.

By following these simple steps, you can keep your Dubarry boots looking fantastic and feeling beautifully supple for years.
