About Igor: Igor has designed and made its own shoes in Spain since 1974. The factory is in Almoradí, in Alicante. We are stocking the children’s range: rubber wellies, jelly sandals for the water, and the Homie slippers for indoors.
Everything we have from Igor is for children, from EU 19 (UK 3) up to EU 33 (UK 1). Not every style is in every size. The wellies are the Splash Euri (W10256), the Bimbi Euri (W10257) and the Bimbi Lazo (W10238). They are rubber, with a textile lining, a sponge insole and a non-slip sole. The Lazo has a bow and a drawstring cuff. The sandals are water-friendly and close with Velcro: the Star (S10171) and Star Glitter (S10265), the Bay (S10340) with a closed toe and heel, the Nemo Solid (S10324) and the Tobby Solid (S10271). The Homie lion and unicorn are textile slippers.
Looking after them
Rinse sand and mud off the wellies and jelly sandals and leave them to dry away from a radiator. Heat can soften the rubber. The Homie slippers are textile. Brush or wipe them, and do not soak them.
Igor’s children’s rubber wellies. Textile lined, with a sponge insole and a non-slip sole. The Bimbi Lazo adds a bow and a toggle cuff.
A flexible synthetic sandal you can wear into the water. The Star, Bay, Nemo and Tobby all fasten with Velcro.
Igor’s name for the Homie slipper shape: a zero-drop sole, so the heel is not raised, on a soft textile upper. Their wider barefoot shoes are a separate range, and we do not have those in.
By EU size. That is the size Igor uses in Spain. Our UK figure is a conversion, and the centimetre column is a standard length, not a measurement from Igor’s factory.
They share the EU scale, but they are not the same shoe. A welly wants a little spare room at the toe. A Velcro sandal can be tightened at the ankle. The Homie slipper is zero-drop and meant to sit closer. If you are between sizes, try the welly in the larger EU size and the slipper in the one that matches the foot.
Yes. Igor has made the collection in Almoradí, Alicante, since 1974. The Splash wellies and the Bay sandals on our site are both described as made in Spain.
They are indoor slippers, in a soft textile, with a zero-drop sole. The wellies and the jelly sandals are the ones for puddles and the beach.
The barefoot range Igor launched in 2023 is the one with a wide toe. Of what we stock, only the Homie slippers are in that barefoot idea, and they are the medium version. The wellies and jelly sandals are not sold here as a wide fitting.
