About Superfit: Superfit is an Austrian children’s footwear brand, part of the Legero group and a WMS-certified maker of school shoes, trainers and Gore-Tex boots. We stock them for parents who want a proper width fitting rather than a one-width-fits-all shoe. Sizes are EU on the box. Superfit publish foot length in millimetres against each EU size on their website, and that is the conversion to use.
This is Superfit’s own children’s chart, from babies through to the teenage sizes. Match the longer foot in millimetres to the EU size; width is separate, and they make narrow, medium and wide fittings on the WMS system. Sizes on our site come and go with stock.

The WMS system gives each Superfit length in narrow, medium and wide (W) fittings, so length and width are matched separately rather than guessing with a half size up or down.
A breathable, waterproof membrane fitted inside many Superfit styles to keep feet dry in wet weather.
A cushioned insole that lifts out for cleaning or to check growing room. Many Superfit insoles carry a “perfect fitting line” to show how much toe space is left.
WMS is the German Shoe Institute’s width standard for children’s footwear. Superfit makes each length in narrow, medium and wide (W) fittings, so your child gets the right width as well as the right length. We can measure both in the shop if you are unsure.
Yes, but choose a wide (W) fitting rather than assuming every Superfit style is roomy. Medium-width models suit an average to narrower foot, while W gives extra space in the forefoot for wider feet and higher insteps.
Superfit already build growing room into the size. On styles with a removable insole, the toes should reach the lower line and not pass the upper one, with the perfect fitting line as the ideal spot. Recheck every six to eight weeks while feet are growing quickly.
In our experience they are a reliable choice for wet school runs and playground puddles. The Gore-Tex membrane keeps water out while letting perspiration escape, which matters on active days. A quick wipe and air dry keeps them going.
Lift out the insole and stand your child on it with their heel at the back. You should see roughly a thumb’s width beyond the longest toe, and the fitting line if the shoe has one. Slide it back in and feel along the sides for pressure on the little toe or across the instep.
They are generally true to the length on Superfit’s own size chart, but parents often find medium-width styles feel narrower than brands like Kickers or Kavat. If a medium feels tight across the foot, a wide fitting in the same length is usually the answer, not necessarily a size up.
