About Tamaris: Tamaris is a German fashion footwear brand, part of the Wortmann group, with a long history in European shoemaking. Tamaris women’s shoes are made in EU sizes and generally come up true to size, and many styles have the cushioned Touch-it insole. Tamaris convert EU to UK a half size differently from us at EU 36 and EU 41, which the box column shows; go by your usual EU size. We stock from EU 36 (UK 3) to EU 42 (UK 8).

We find Tamaris generally true to size in EU on length, but it does vary by style. Pointed pumps and some narrow cuts can feel snug at your usual size, while a few trainers and sandals feel roomier, so it is worth checking the foot length in cm on our chart.
Yes. Tamaris does not offer half sizes, and their own guidance is to take the larger size if you are between two. A thin half-insole can take up any slack if the fit feels slightly loose.
Standard Tamaris styles are a normal F width, so if you have a wider forefoot we would look at their Wide Fit range rather than squeezing into your usual size. That line gives extra room through the ball of the foot, toes and instep.
Many Tamaris heels with a Touch-It footbed and ANTIshokk heel cushioning feel comfortable from the first wear. Stiffer leather uppers on some dress styles may still need a few outings to soften, so we would try them on with the hosiery you plan to wear.
Tamaris measures calf width on their boots and grades shaft fit from XS to XL. If you have fuller calves, filter for a wider shaft or look for styles with stretch panels, and measure around the fullest part of your calf in the tights or trousers you plan to wear them with.
Customers often comment on how wearable Tamaris heels and flats are for a full day, particularly styles with Touch-It underfoot. Trainers and low heels tend to be the easiest, while very high or narrow styles may still feel firm after several hours on your feet.
