About Verbenas: Verbenas are made in Spain. What we stock is women’s: the Carmen espadrille, trainers such as the Sound and Jamaica, rain boots, and mule slippers such as the York. They have not published a foot-length chart, so the centimetre column below is a general conversion, not a Verbenas measurement. On the Carmen suede they say the shoe runs smaller than usual. On their trainers, if you are unsure, they say take the larger size.
Everything we have in is women’s, from EU 36 (shown as UK 3) to EU 42 (shown as UK 8). Treat the EU size as the one that matters. Verbenas do not publish the UK size printed in the shoe, or a foot length in centimetres, so those two columns are our usual conversion rather than their chart. For the Carmen, their own page says the fit is smaller than usual. For the trainers, if the length could go either way, they say take the larger EU size.

Care
Verbenas suggest cleaning trainers with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a product suited to the material. Suede, which we have on the Carmen, the Sound and the Jamaica, wants a brush once it is dry rather than a soak. Let shoes dry away from a radiator.
Not the Carmen. Their page for the Carmen suede says it runs smaller than usual, so take the larger EU size if you are between two. For trainers they also say to take the larger size if you are unsure. They have not published a centimetre chart.
Use the EU size. The UK figure is our conversion, and Verbenas have not given us a box UK to compare it with. The centimetre column is the same general conversion, not a measurement from them.
Women’s Carmen espadrilles, Clodette, Jamaica and Sound trainers, Gaudi and Lua rain boots, and York, Yeti and Yuma slippers, from EU 36 to EU 42.
In Spain. The Carmen page describes that espadrille as made in Spain, with a jute and rubber sole.
Verbenas say an espadrille is worn with a bare foot or an invisible sock. A textile upper gives a little once you have worn it in, so do not start with a loose fit.
