About Teva: Teva’s Original Universal is one of their first sandals, the one that started on the Colorado river. What we stock is that men’s sandal, and the women’s Midform Universal, which uses the same adjustable strap idea on a 1.25 inch platform. The straps are hook-and-loop, so you can set the fit across the foot. On the Original Universal, Teva say to size down if you are between sizes. Their UK size matches the UK we show. Their Euro size matches up to a women’s UK 6, then it runs smaller than the EU number on our site.
The women’s sandal we stock is the Midform Universal, from UK 3 to UK 8. The foot lengths below are from Teva’s women’s chart for that UK size. UK 3 to UK 6 line up with their Euro sizes. UK 7 is 25.4 cm and EU 40 on their chart (we show EU 41). UK 8 is 26.2 cm and EU 41 on their chart (we show EU 42). The platform height on the Midform is 1.25 inches. The straps are the same adjustable Universal system as the Original.

The men’s sandal is the Original Universal, in UK 10, 11 and 12. Teva say to size down if you fall between sizes. Their chart puts UK 10 at EU 44.5 and 28.1 cm, UK 11 at EU 45.5 and 28.9 cm, and UK 12 at EU 47 and 29.8 cm. Only the UK 12 agrees with the EU size on our website, so use the UK size and the centimetre column.

Yes. The UK size on our site is the UK size on Teva’s chart. If you are between two lengths, Teva’s note on the Original Universal is to take the smaller size. The straps can then be tightened.
Up to a women’s UK 6 it does. After that, Teva’s Euro size is smaller than the EU we show. A women’s UK 7 is their EU 40, a women’s UK 8 is their EU 41, a men’s UK 10 is their EU 44.5 and a men’s UK 11 is their EU 45.5. Men’s UK 12 is their EU 47, which matches us.
Yes. The Universal strapping has more than one point you can set, and it closes with hook-and-loop. That is how you fit a wider or a narrower foot in the same length.
That is what they are for. Teva list the Original Universal for water as well as everyday wear, and the straps are a quick-drying recycled polyester. The sole is rubber.
The men’s Original Universal is the classic flat sandal. The women’s Midform Universal uses the same strap idea with a 1.25 inch platform. Both are in whole UK sizes only, in the sizes we currently have.
