About Victoria: Victoria is a Spanish footwear brand founded in 1915, still making trainers in Spain today. We stock them mainly for the classic canvas styles, particularly the 1915 Inglesa plimsolls, which have that unfussy retro look that works with jeans, dresses and school uniform alike. Sizes are in EU. Victoria publish UK and centimetres alongside each EU size on their website, and on the classic canvas Inglesa styles they say to choose one size larger than usual.
This is the junior part of Victoria’s own 1915 Inglesa chart. Measure from the heel to the longest toe, add about a centimetre (they suggest 0.8–1.2 cm), and on the classic canvas styles choose one size larger than usual. Sizes on our site come and go with stock.

A lightweight cotton fabric used on Victoria’s classic trainer styles, breathable and casual.
A toughened rubber sole bonded to the upper under heat, giving durability and flexibility.
A thicker, raised sole unit used on some of Victoria’s more contemporary styles.
By foot length, yes, if you match the centimetre measurement on Victoria’s size chart to the EU size. On the classic canvas Inglesa styles, though, many people find them feel a size small in practice, and Victoria’s own advice is to go up a size, so we would treat their chart as your starting point and not be afraid to try the next size up.
The canvas ranges run fairly narrow through the forefoot, so if you have a wider foot we would usually size up rather than stay in your usual length. Once the cotton has softened after a few wears, the fit often feels more forgiving, but we would not rely on that if they feel tight across the ball of the foot from new.
We would, especially on the slip-on Inglesa styles. Victoria recommend choosing one size larger than usual, and that matches the feedback we hear from customers. Once you know your Victoria size, you can usually reorder with confidence.
Yes. Victoria canvas trainers can go in the washing machine on a cool cycle (around 30°C), then air dry laid flat out of direct sunlight. A quick spin helps them dry before any water marks can settle into the fabric.
They can feel firm and close through the toe for the first few wears, then the canvas relaxes and moulds to your foot. Most customers find them properly comfortable after a short break-in rather than needing weeks.
Everyday casual wear. They are light canvas plimsolls with a vulcanised rubber sole, ideal for warm weather, holidays and knocking about town, but not really a shoe for long walks, rough terrain or serious arch support.
