Requires a signature unless an instruction is given to leave the parcel in a safe place. We are unable to deliver to PO Box address.

Our courier service is next working day however please allow for (UK 2 days) and (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands 2-4 Days).

Orders can be picked up from our shop at 25-33 Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone during business hours. An email will be sent to you advising when your parcel is ready for collection.

Delivery Terms

Please allow up to 1-3 days for delivery (UK). We use a courier, next working day delivery service, for all product unless you have selected the Royal Mail option at the checkout on the Website. We will endeavour, to dispatch products immediately on confirmation that your order is accepted and issue of your Order Reference Number. If for some reason we have a problem with your order we will contact you by telephone or email as soon as practicable to let you know. If delay in dispatch is likely to exceed 7 days you may, provided the product has not been dispatched, cancel your order and we will refund all sums paid by you.

A delivery pre-advice text or e mail is sent to you the day the item is dispatched. You will also receive a second notification, on the day of delivery. The text or e-mail message allows you to re-organise delivery to another day, select a safe place for your parcel to be left if this is preferred or to select a nearby Pick Up Point. Instructions can be given at our checkout for packages to be left in a specified safe place or with a neighbour if you are likely to be out when delivery is made.

Deliveries Out of the UK

Deliveries out of the UK may be subject to local sales taxes, custom charges and/or import duties, over which we have no control, and for which we cannot accept liability. If they apply they may require to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery. You may be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise you what they may be. As customs policies vary from country to country, you may wish to contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.

Lost parcels

It is very rare for parcels to go missing, but please take note of the following terms:
We will not be able to enter a claim for lost products with Royal Mail until:
1. 15 working days have passed (for UK orders)
2. 20 working days have passed (for EU orders)
3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU)

Courier Service

1.  15 working days have passed (for UK orders)
2. 20 working days have passed (for EU orders)
3. 25 working days have passed (for orders outside the EU

Proof of delivery which can include a Signature, GPS coordinates or photograph

will be provided to the customer. This should be sufficient to prove the delivery was successful and invalidate a warranty claim. If the courier company is unable to provide this evidence then a claim will be considered.
*please note that monies will not be refunded until the claim has been accepted by the courier firm.

We cannot guarantee that our items have not been tried on in our store at some point. Sale items may have been displayed on racks in our stores also.

R. M. Williams boot repair service at The Golden Boot


Your boots are made to last. With the right care and attention, the single-piece leather boots mould to your feet and improve with age. The more you wear them, the better they will get, the more you will want to wear them - but with wear comes repair. For UK Customers we offer an official R.M. Williams repair service. We work alongside a fully licensed R.M. Williams repair specialist, who uses genuine R.M. Williams components which include soles, heels, elastic gussets and boot tabs.

 The Process


 Before you start:  

1. Please check for any tears on the upper of your boots. Unfortunately if there are any, we are unable to repair your boots. 

2. Your Boots must be on an original R.M. Sole to carry out the repair. 

3. Ensure your boots are clean and free from mud etc  


Before proceeding with  your repair, please email your enquiry and photo of your boots to [email protected] .      


Email Us

Once you have received an email confirming  that we are able to process your order, package your boots and include: 

Your name, address, contact telephone number and email address. 

Details of the repair you require ie: sole and heel, heels only, gussets/elastics, tabs.

Please send your boots and the above information to:

We will confirm receipt of your boots before any repairs are carried out, and contact you for payment before posting your repaired boots back to you.

Costing


Pricing starts from £130 (including postage) for a full resole. Gusset and tabs are extra costs. Timescale is around 4 weeks with our local specialist repairer, however, if your boots need to be sent back to Australia it can take up to 12 weeks or more. 


Dynamic, comfort, leather, gardener re soles start from £130.00 

Heels start from £45.00 

Tabs start from £12.00 per tab 

Gussets start from £18.00 per gusset 

Re-welt to Australia starts from £160.00


R. M. Williams Boot Repairs Before and After

R. M. Williams
This dilapidated pair of R.M. Williams Lachlan saw a new lease of life with a full resole and heel and new elastic gussets. The upper was cleaned and then brought back to life with R.M. Williams saddle dressing.

This pair of Comfort craftsman boots in Kangaroo Tan Bark leather received a full resole and heel with new elastic gussets on each boot. The upper was then lovingly nourished with R.M. Williams leather conditioner and finished with Saphir light brown shoe cream.

This pair of Dynamic Flex R.M. Williams received a full resole and heel. Both of the comfort insoles were also replaced. The upper was then polished with R. M. Williams Stockman's chestnut Boot Polish.

This R.M. Williams Signature Craftsman Boot received a full resole and heel. The sole has been meticulously re-stitched and the Signature Craftsman brass plaque has been re-attached. The one piece Veal Calf leather upper has been polished and buffed using the nourishing R.M. Williams chestnut Stockmans polish.
