About Geox: Geox is an Italian brand we have sold for years, best known for its breathable Geox Respira sole. The rubber sole is finely perforated and sits over a breathable membrane, so air gets in but water stays out. If you have a child who gets hot or sweaty feet, Geox is well worth a look.
Geox put a lot of thought into how children’s feet grow. The shoes are light and flexible with a breathable lining, snug through the heel and midfoot with plenty of room at the toes. Cushioned insoles and a shock-absorbing sole soak up the knocks of the playground, and little feet stay that bit fresher through the day. Children grow quickly, so it is worth checking the fit every few weeks against the foot length below. We stock from a small EU 26 (UK 8.5) right up to an adult EU 43 (UK 9), and our best sellers, the Agata A for girls and the Savage A for boys, both go up to an adult size 7.
A smart slip-on loafer that has become a real favourite with our older girls, thanks to its grown-up tassel detailing and easy, no-fuss fit. It comes up true to size on length, so most girls can stick with their usual size, and the average width fitting suits narrow feet nicely, holding the foot securely without feeling tight. As it slips on with no laces or straps there is little room to adjust the fit, so if your daughter has a high instep or a wider foot we would suggest going up a size.
The leather softens beautifully after a short wearing-in period and only gets more comfortable from there, and it is quick and easy to pop on of a morning while still looking the part at school. Built on Geox’s breathable Respira sole, it keeps little feet that bit fresher and drier through the day, and the insole lifts out for easy airing and cleaning, or to make room for orthotics if they are needed. Made from chrome-free leather with a light but hard-wearing sole, the slight heel and chunky unit give a modern, grown-up look while keeping things steady underfoot.
A sturdy, twin-strap school shoe built to take a battering in the playground and still come up well for the next morning. It is generally true to size on length, though we would go up a size for a wider foot, and a rounded toe with adjustable straps mean it suits average and slightly wider feet better than many of the smarter Geox styles. The two straps also make it easy for children to manage by themselves.
The chunky rubber sole wraps up over the toe to form a built-in bumper, which does a grand job of keeping scuffs at bay, with extra protection at the heel and toe where shoes tend to take the most punishment. Built on Geox’s breathable Respira sole, it helps feet stay fresher and drier all day long, while the non-marking, hard-wearing sole stands up well to everyday school wear. The leather footbed lifts out for easy cleaning, or to swap in an orthotic or insole.
Geox womens’ shoes are easy to wear and lovely and comfortable, with the same breathable sole. They are sized in European sizes and the fit is a touch generous, so they are a good bet if you like a little extra room or fall between widths.

Geox men’s shoes are smart and comfortable, with a roomy fit through the foot. Compared with a lot of brands they tend to feel a little more generous, so if you are between sizes you can usually take the smaller one.

Geox School Shoes Care Guide
Walks to school, playground games and craft lessons all take their toll on a pair of shoes. A few simple habits will help your child’s Geox shoes last the term and beyond.
It is also worth labelling shoes somewhere discreet, such as under the tongue, on the insole or inside the heel, if there is any chance they will get mixed up with a classmate’s pair.
Geox Shoes Care Guide
How you care for Geox shoes depends on what they are made of. For smooth leather, brush off the dirt then lift any stubborn marks with a foam cleaner. A waterproofing spray and a little polish will protect the leather and keep it supple. Nubuck and suede are best brushed when dry to bring the nap back up, with a suede waterproofer to finish.
Greased or waxed leather likes a foam cleaner and a wax-based dressing to keep its soft sheen. Patent leather just needs a soft cloth and a gentle foam so it stays glossy. Brush fabric shoes, clean them with a foam cleaner and treat them with a waterproofer. For synthetic leather, a light foam cleaner is all you need.
Where you can, take the insole out before washing and clean by hand in warm, soapy water, no hotter than 40°C. It is always worth a glance at the care label on the shoe itself too.
Geox’s breathable, waterproof system. A perforated sole works with a breathable membrane to keep feet dry and comfortable all day.
Takes the waterproofing further, extending it past the sole so the whole shoe keeps water out in any weather.
A light, cushioned and breathable build designed for an easy, comfortable stride.
A ventilation system that lets the shoe breathe even more.
